• This is an in-depth lecture that will break down a technical map used at the Larry Moss Studio.
• Why are some choices more powerful than others?
• Find out in AN INTENSE AND EMOTIONAL WORKSHOP supported by film clips and different kinds of exercises necessary to create vivid and fleshed-out characters.
• You will never break down a script or watch a movie in the same way again.
• Discussion & analysis on how to deliver a raw unforgettable performance, learning from highly respected actors such as Meryl Streep, Judi Dench, Anthony Hopkins, Al Pacino, Marlon Brando, James Dean and many others.
• An exploration of a complete set of tools that can be applied to film, television and stage work.
• Students participate in different exercises – from how to build a provocative and complex back story, to how to find triggers & psychological gesture in their work.
• In addition, exercises are taught on how to develop a story exercise from scratch. Everyone has a great story in them to tell! Several exercises are taught on how to jump start that process leading to finding material for a one woman /man show, screenplay, short or novel.
