Amorita began working in theater at the age of 17, when she played Obscura Ventana, a production from Marco A. Petriz, one of the most recognized directors in Mexico. She became internationally renowned for her work in The Other American Dream and was nominated for the
Ariel (Mexicos Oscar), directed by Enrique Arroyo.
Her first full-length film, Mezcal, from director Ignacio Ortiz Cruz, received 7 Arieles. Her latest work in film has been El Violín, by Francisco Vargas, which was a contender at Cannes.
Born in Tehuantepec, Oaxaca, Amorita Rasgado is proud of being an actress who has never compromised her indigenous roots for her career goals.

After Nastasha and Camilo had seen over a 100 girls (Casting was by Dorothy Szymanska) Nastasha and Camilo are booking Haley for the Starring role of Sierra.....Yippy!!!!
