"Michelle: Joelle was focused and very confident going in and coming out. Stuart told her that he was impressed with what she had done.
Joelle enjoyed her coaching session with you so much and said that she never wants to coach with anyone else before an audition! Thank you again for working with Joelle and we look forward to coaching with you again."

"I have had the immense pleasure this year to be involved with Schoolcreative. The teachers, renowned for their own artistic careers, are incredibly passionate about taking their students to a whole 'nother level within. The students? Wow! Dedication, talent and inherent natural ability all rolled in one. I am proud to say that my 1st signing from Schoolcreative has been auditioning like mad and has a bright career ahead of him. "

ACTORS

Kirsten:

Do you remember in the photocopy room last month when you said,  "Hodgee- your going to book as soon as you get out of school, I know it and I'm rarely wrong about that!!!"
Weird huh!
It's an episode of a show called PARADISE LOST, I believe its BBC or UK5 channel I think - its with Next Films Toronto and its a lead role for joe being filmed in Costa Rica.
Very exciting!! Couldn't have done it without Schoolcreative! That is a FORSURE!
I'll call you when I get back and come see you!
First of many steps! Thanks for everything.
Hodgee

Kirsten:
I just got hired as one of 4 coors light spokes models!! they did a BC search for 4 girls to represent the company during their new product launch. we will tour around BC and be in the media- tv, radio, attend various events etc.- its going to be fun!! the contract is from may- oct! I will still be able to act in the meantime.
Speaking of which- Shannon is so amazing- as you already know this!!! I have been going on so many auditions and getting lots of call backs...and booking commericals and tv shows too!! Also, I am shooting a motion capture for a video game next week!! I have a call back for stan helsing on tuesday!! i just read for stuart aiken for a lead in the new 90210 series!
I have been going out for so much more than that- it is just too exciting!! I just wanted to check in with you and let you know how happy I am that I came to Schoolcreative. It was the best thing I ever did for my career. Thank you for being such a great mama bear taking care of your students and pushing us to be the best we can be- its really paying off!!

Kirsten, doing my first sitcom was AMAZING!! Had so much fun and super laughs...Even talks of bringing me back in the later episodes! But we must talk...the producers were trying to convince me to go to LA with their production company 'sponsoring' me...Ideas, opinions?

Kirsten!
I'm so so excited about booking Men in Trees and I know that it's thanks to Linda's class that I was able to go into my very first TV audition and book it!! Her class has given me the confidence and skills to make auditioning a fun and nerve-free experience! (well, most of the time) Rebecca Hay

Just put one of the most pivotal scenes in the picture to bed today. I must say it was a dooooozy, and I must also honestly say I would not have been able to do what I did today without the training I received at THIS F'ING AMAZING School. If you haven?t been taught here I can honestly say you are lacking some crucial stuff. When your director forgets to yell cut because you had him "chap fallen" I think that?s a good thing!!! MARC  ANTHONY MASSIAH (sent while shooting a feature in Antigua).

Boss Boss!

I just shot a short with the talented Dallas Ross this weekend for the Bloodshot film fest. It was a blast. Dallas was prepared to shoot from 9am to 9pm to get through the scenes, but it only took till 6:30 pm. It was a great feeling to finish ahead of schedule and to give Dallas and his team the extra time to put together their masterpiece! I just wanted to say thanks to you, Trish and Tobias for all the insight to make it quick, professional and GREAT.
Ever so grateful. Luke Lacombe

Hi Kirsten,

Oh my God! I love Henry's classes. I feel that acting has opened up a whole
stream of creativity that has been lying dormant in me. You probably hear
this more than most people; "I have found my passion!" I am looking forward
to the mastery that starts today. You were right in matching me up with
Henry, I have never experienced a teacher who has such pristine intuition,
and communication skills. Ashly Hunking

"Re: Laura Brooke Toplass & Tobias Mehler Casting Director Workshop
By the way Kirsten.
That workshop was fabulous! Thank you for organizing it!
You're the Best!
Cheers,"

"Linda Darlow's commercial workshop is well worth taking. Auditioning for commercials is a completely different technique and I found it very challenging. Linda's teaching is extremely comprehensive and by the end fo the weeken I had even changed my attitude about commercials. With the new skills I learned and intend to practice I'm actually looking forward to going to those auditions again." Tamsin Horsfal

"I felt so honoured being accepted into the full-time program at School Creative.  I heard so many wonderful stories about the program.  Kirsten is such a wonderful, caring person who strives to help actors achieve their goals.  The instructors are so talented, understanding, passionate, and dedicated to their craft and the students. Thanks Kirsten for allowing me to follow my dreams!" Marg Bergen

"Hi Kirsten,
Just wanted to let you know how much Teresa enjoyed her first class at School Creative last Saturday, Feb. 24th, with Michelle Boback, (Film and TV for Tweens).  I stayed outside the room to monitor the class and I heard lots of talking and noise and excited laughter. When Michelle came out, I asked how it went, and she said Teresa had been great and had been the first one to try a monologue! This was especially encouraging to me, as some agents want a monologue audition.  Teresa said later it was one of the best classes she had ever attended and she was looking forward to the next week.  Thanks for your excellent teaching and professional programs...looking forward to the rest of the classes!" Corinne Dickinson

"When I first came to Schoolcreative to sign up I looked on the wall and saw all the different cultures and diversity of people and I felt very comfortable. I knew if I attended this school I could reveal myself as a person and as an actor without any restraints.Being an Indo-Canadian male it's hard to find that in some parts of society.  I felt very comfortable and it is a good place for me to work.  And so far so good and Kirsten is a wonderful person." Raj Toor

"I really like Tobias's class. His approach to in depth analysis makes me really look at how important the screenwriters choice of words colour every scene. This gives me the ability to envision and feel the place of the scene and the importance of all characters no matter how big or small. Tobias doesn't miss a thing. His interpretation based on given circumstances in a script allows me to really psychologically understand and feel the character within me. It really ignites passion in me. " Elena Esovolova (Supernatural).

"Hi Kirsten:
Could you please tell Nathaniel that it is because of his class and bull dog determination, I was able to get an agent in New York for film and television. I went in for an interview and at the end of what seemed like a good interview they requested a monologue in front of all of the staff. Thank God for Nathaniel's class -- thats all I can say. I was able to do the monologue I had been working on in class from the play Seven Guitars. Could you you please tell his students that what he is saying is true --  you have to be prepared.  Be encouraged. Much Love, Vicky"

"Linda's workshop is magic. Even though I have booked commercials in the past, she taught me many tips and techniques that I was still not aware of. My confidence soared after this intensive weekend as I was able to practice the new concepts and strengthen my existing skills. I felt great. And guess what? Two days after taking the workshop, I booked a principal role in a commercial! This workshop is a must for newbies and non-newbies alike!" Sian

"Hi Kirsten & Linda,
Thank you Linda for a very insightful, beneficial and practical workshop.  The skills you taught me will be invaluable when presenting at commercials.  Whoever would have thought slating is most important!! " Premila

"Hey Kirsten!
I know I expressed myself at the workshop but I just wanted to stress again how great I found this past weekend's workshop to be. There was just the right amount of people in a great learning environment with a great individual instructing and an awesome coordinator. ;) !!
It was low stress too - which was both awesome and surprising. I even made a friend, yes!
So yeah, thanks again. Namaste," Ingrid

"The showcase last sunday was unbeliveable the choices were so amazing I was surprised by all of the strong acting... I love you Nathanial thank you for inspiring me with your passion for the love of acting... " C

"Great work on the show! There were some very talented people in that group. And... that aside, I am SO happy to have won the raffle!"  Jessica

"Dear Kirsten,
I must say I was overwhelmed by Sunday's performace by the Broken Door Players (School Creative's full-time program graduates). Wow. The performances were so engaging- I didn't want the night to end. The commitment, artistry and professionalism these actors showed up there on that small stage made you forget you were in the Anza Club- I felt so far away, drawn deeply into each performance. I must commend Eston Fung especially, as I used to work with mentally challenged adults and felt his portrayal to be authentic and true. Please be sure and let me know when the next showcase will be!" Kimberly Manky

"The Candice Elzinga workshop was fantastic.  Thank you so much for hosting her and us.  In fact, I enjoyed being there so much I would love to sign up for Laura Brooke Toplass' workshop if there is still space available."  Josh

"The workshop was wonderful! Coming from a former actor, Candice's directions really helped in my choices of dynamics in the way I deliver through different characters.Thank you so much Kirsten. I will definitely refer your classes to my agent as well as my colleagues in the agency." Maggie Ma

"There are SO many good things that one can say about the schoolcreative team. But I'll say this: I just recently walked out of a pretty important audition, and the words that were said to me as I left were: " Thank you! Thank you for making that FUN for us, that was REALLY good."I owe that compliment to the schoolcreative team. The things I have learned about the dos and don?ts of acting and auditioning have been in no small part the reason I have been booking and or getting called in as often as I have. So I thank you schoolcreative. Your biggest fan.... " Marc-Anthony

"I have known Kirsten for as many years as I have been acting. She has that rare gift, that passion for the art and for truth, that makes her a superb coach and teacher." Adam Harrington (Series Lead, ?Whistler?, "Show Me Yours", ?What Not To Wear?)

"Kirsten Clarkson is an absolute gem of knowledge, compassion, and understanding of an actors raw talent. She forced me to look inside myself, and pull out the emotion, and commitment I needed to succeed as an actor.
Without Kirsten Clarkson's support, training, and dedication to acting, I would not have had the successes I have had today. She wants all of her actors to flourish for years to come and she supports that." Darren Daurie ("Da Vinci's Inquest", "Dark Angel", "Lemonade", etc.)

"HI KIRSTEN I AM SO GLAD I AM IN YOUR CLASS. I FEEL LIKE I AM GETTING STRONGER ALL THE TIME. (SHIFT KEY IS NOT STUCK, THIS MESSAGE NEEDED TO BE CAPITALIZED)" LYNNA (Director/Actor)

"Hey Kirsten,
Wow! Thank you for the hillariously fun and challenging class this morning! It was a great introduction to acting and very much applicable to things we work on in oral skills. All the students made a point of letting me know what a great time it was and from what I hear the interpreters in the other classes are jealous...I really can appreciate how much work it must be to push and pull people into character. But you were certainly successful with us! I hope to do this again. "Tim Hull  Advanced Interpreter Program Simon Fraser University
